Each episode is another installment. e.g. intervention. hoarders. arguably, reality tv is documentary. Interview. Live action. definition: informative. nonfictional. high school history; E.G. national geographic. historical docs: interview profs, historians, experts. History Channel, PBS. informative. nonfictional espn; 30 for 30. sports docs. animal docs. march of the penguins. winged migration. science docs. nova. cosmos (n tyson). social issue docs. Food Inc. Supersize Me. Bully. Inconvenient Truth.critically acclaimed TV format. the office. parks and rec. doc ethos or style but scripted. fictional. interview characters. docs have permeated pop culture. docs by nature are ethnographic. they try to understand occurrences like current events. Occupation 101 about Israel and Palestine. The Square, nominated for AA, about Egyptian Revolution. Emotion is tangible when talking to people whose daily lives are affected. Docs have power. Instead of on the outside looking in, they are on the inside, care about what is going on.
